Champagne winery
The design for the renovation of this Champagne Barrel Cellar, Vat Room and Wine Press Room was guided by one simple idea: to create a space of calmness and serenity, where the wine can truly rest.
For the Barrel Cellar and Vat Room the objective was to create a space of stillness where the wine could undergo its quiet transformation. The architectural intervention was minimal yet deliberate. A newceiling was introduced, crafted from local oak planks—the very same material used in the barrels. A vinotheque was designed as a central, monolithic element.
The Wine Press Room was conceived as a space that is both highly functional and visually composed. The design respects the robust, industrial nature of the space while introducing elements that unify it with the rest of the winery. A standout feature is the bespoke wall sculpture-toolbar.
